Tapu Koko Prism Star is amazing for attaching Energy to your Pokemon quickly. He’s essentially a better Volcanion, with a better attack and an Energy-accelerating attack that isn’t conditional. Both of these cards are legal in Standard Insane energy accelerationīoltund V is the most expensive Electric type in this deck, and for good reason. To add to that, the Thunder Mountain Stadium card in this deck lets yo use your Tag Team’s attacks for 2 Energy only. This is where cards like Max Elixir and Energy Switch really shine out. The Raichus aren’t the best pick as a starting attacker due to their conditional Tandem Shock attack.īoth of these Tag Teams have a GX attack that can be further powered up using extra Energy. PikaRom can hit for 150 while also powering up your Raichus or Boltund. PikaRom and Raichu & Alolan Raichu-GX are two of the three heavy-hitters of this deck. Mewtwo & Mew-GX works well too if you’re running into too many Fighting-type decks.
